The design challenge was to re-establish the world famous fishing & vacation resort once home away from home to John Wayne, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.  Legendary for trophy fishermen seeking giant Pacific salmon, the original lodge was destroyed by fire. The reconstruction was designed and supervised by JCSDA. The Main Lodge features stone, heavy timber, spectacular views & mounted giant trophy fish. Includes Marine Adventure Centre, Conference Centre, Fitness Centre & Tennis. Today new celebrities and fishermen are enjoying our redefinition of tradition at Painters.
